This doesn’t always work: if your friend enters an incorrect e-mail address for the new owner of the sensor, you can no longer recover. Usually this works fine, just be careful to enter the correct data, don’t throw away e-mail before the transfer is complete, check your SPAM folder, etc.
@Fabrizio_Colazzo did you change anything on these devices that you needed to delete them?
Because there was a warning at deletion that you will be unable to use the chipID again.
(And no, re-registering the chipID of an esp8266 system as an esp32 won’t work …)
Hello, I’m doing a school project using the sensor number esp32-05613C. As they do this project every year with the same devices, I can’t register it in my name.
Would it be possible to release this sensor so that i can use it on my project ?
Ideally i would need this to be done fast as we have limited time for the project.
are you sure about the type of the NodeMCU (esp32)? The default in our project is the esp8266.
And you should have the chipID either in decimal for esp8266 or a longer hex for esp32.
