Hi everyone,
Iam seeking advice on the best practices for assigning IP addresses to sensors connected to a router. As I integrate multiple sensors into my home network, I want to ensure they communicate reliably without conflicts. How should I configure IP addresses https://19216801.pro/ and router settings for optimal performance? Any suggestions ,previously if you faced regards this ,please share your thoughts with me,Thank you.
Welcome!
It should be available now.
Do you reaaly need to set the IP address ? In this case it should be for example:
192.168.0.103
192.168.0.104
192.168.0.105
…
I had 5-6 sensors running on my network months ago and it was working quite well in automatic. Even after reboot etc.
@ricki-z What do you think?
DHCP should work in most environments. I don’t really see any reason to set fixed IPs in normal cases.
