Multiple 408 errors

I am setting up a sensor using a PMS5003 connected to a Raspberry Pi Pico board. When I connect via my work network I am seeing many 408 - timeout errors. However if I connect to the hotspot on my phone it is working no problem.
Out I.T department is wondering if our I.P address has been banned. From this post https://forum.sensor.community/t/link-to-sensor-data-for-esp32/963/10 I don’t think that is the case.

The time between sensor readings is set to 180 seconds. I did try to make multiple upload attempts. I now have this set to wait 10 seconds between upload attempts in case that was causing a problem, but would still not explain the problem happening in the first place.

Can you offer any suggestions or anything that I need to go back to I.T with.

I should also mention this has been going on a few days no.
I have previously used a very similar set up last year with no problems.

Hello,

following the mentioned errors this seems definitely like a problem of your work network.
We don’t block ips regularly. The last manual blocks of IPs are nearly a year ago. And these were IPs that called the API nearly once per second …
You could try to call ht site https://api.sensor.community/ there. This should give you a hint, as most corporate anti spam / anti virus / adult content filters show the reason for blocking.
If possible you could send me the outside IP address of your corporate network and I can check this.
