Map is showing zero sensors and my HA cannot push senor’s data anymore.
Yep for me too zero Sensors…
Should be online again since saturday morning. The filesystem was full …
Sorry.
Hi all,
map and database are down again? No WEB, noch API endpoint reachable. What happend?
I don’t see upload errors from my sensors and the map is still working with current data from 10k sensors. However the Grafana graphs are broken. This is caused by an expired certificate on the Grafana-server at https://api-rrd.madavi.de:3000 . @ricki-z : looks like the certificate-renewal failed?
New cert is copied and the server was restarted.
(And yes, I have to write a script that will do this weekly or monthly …
)
It all happened again in the night of 5 to 6 september. World map data is reduced to 2513 sensors from over 12000. If you look with the API at data still available it seems that data is old. I looked at 7:45 AM and saw data from 4:24 AM as most recent at one of my sensors API 95705. Most of my (new) network of sensors in Dilbeek-Belgium are down and not visible on the map. What happened?
Here also cannot upload data to sensor comm.
My station is not visible anymore on the map.
Ternaard the Netherlands.

https://api.sensor.community/ is dead
In the main time the network is trying to resume operations. Total meter count jumps up, over +6000, to 9953 right now, from 2513 when down. All the while not reaching the normal total of 12345 (??) shown temporarily when renewing the page. Ricky-z ?

Is the whole problem due to overload, and what type of load should we discard to help the system out of this condition? Ricky-z ?
The normal total on the default map has been around the 10000 for a while now. Based on recent dumps of all active sensors (i.e. sensors sending data to the sensor.community API and available from that API) that count is between 11000 and 12000 over the last few months. Based on what I can see from the outside both map and active sensor count are at this moment as they were before yesterday.
@ricki-z As of 14:10 CEST the problems started again
Map update stops at that time and on my sensors uploads start failing again (timeouts after 20 seconds).
Mine are down right now as well
Hello, all servers should be up again. The main database was down for a longer time this weekend.
And today the devices.sensor.community server and the archive server were down.
