How save a map portion every day

I would like to have a trend of a specific area with many sensors by saving the image every day at the same time and composing them in rapid succession… a quick movie.

It could be a way to quickly pick out the periods to analyze more carefully, what do you think?

There was a motion/time span map a few year ago but I think the link is dead. Can someone remember ?

With QGIS, the archive data and a bit of excel tricks, you should be able to achieve what you want.

QGIS is a free software. The most incredible free software under the sun!

most modern browsers have a headless mode. So you can “open” the url of the map for the section you want and make a “screenshot” of this.

A couple of years ago I used a Raspberry Pi running a script to call a web browser every 5 minutes showing the sensor map of my hometown followed by a screenshot then close the browser again.
Every week I created a video by importing these screenshots into a movie program.
It gives a good insight into area pm pollution dynamics
