Home Assistant integration

Hi

Maybe there is someone here who uses Home Assistant and would like to test their sensor with Sensor.Community firmware with the new version of Nettigo Air Monitor integration? I have added firmware support but thorough testing would be useful.

You can find this new version here Add support for Community.Sensor firmware NRZ-2024-135 · Issue #565 · bieniu/nettigo-air-monitor · GitHub

Thanks in advance

Welcome!
You succeeded to use the forbidden word
Good idea.

Is there a book of forbidden words here?

Indeed. You should not be able to use the word beginning with luft- and finishing with -daten…

Good to know. Since this name is forbidden… I guess the community won’t be happy if I use it in the Home Assistant documentation and the Nettigo Air Monitor package documentation. Is the name “Sensor.Community firmware” ok?

You re right. Please only use Sensor.Communnity.

the problem with home assistant and sensor.community is that whenever sensor.community fails, you have no readings..
when in local network, its better to use the local json file

I think you don’t understand me. Here we are not talking about the Sensor.Community integration but about the Nettigo Air Monitor integration, which works completely locally, communicating only with your device.

I prefer George’s (me) integration, which gets the json every 60", imports the data to influx and creates the graphs..
