Hi I’ve got a couple of kits doing nothing, never used, free to a good home. Pickup S81 8RB or can post at cost.
Just found a third board so this is three kits.

Hi!. Yes, I am interested, but I don’t know the mail cost to Argentina!
me neither! If you can arrange a collection then I am fine to do the packing.
Where are you from? I will try to arrange it.
I’m in the UK, Sheffield area.
I am in Neuquén, Argentina. Thanks for your reply. I will need some information to arrange the collection.
Rickk - I could use those sensors - Durham UK - Did you ever pass them on?
They’re still with me it would be great to get them passed on and in use.
I’m in Sheffield, happy to post.
Rick - that’s brilliant, Hedley 16 DH7 0PX if you include a means of payment I shall refund your postage (I don’t think we can PM on this forum)
Aidan and fangfufu, Aidan was first in and gets first pick.
If he feels he can spare one of these for fangfufu then I’ll leave that between you. They are packed together and I do not want to split them so the full set is heading to Durham.
Aidan I will get the ball rolling if you can email me your full address to rickaking

Thanks gents
fangfu - My plan is to to use the sensors for monitoring on behalf of an enviromental charity who have problems with illegal campfires on their land - There are places nearby where I could place and power sensors but it’s a bit of an ‘idea’ so if it does not work out I will keep your request in mind and pass them on to you.
Okay, good luck! I have a sensor running already. I was just curious about how these official ones perform.
If you need solar power, may I recommend these:
I am using these to power my Pimoroni Enviro Urban. I am using Pimoroni Enviro Urban for sensor.community. I wrote some code to allow data to be uploaded here.
New to this this forum - have found out a lot of useful stuff, such as your work connecting your own sensors - i wondered whether everyone was locked into the official build. Here is a taster picture of the monitoring project site The rewilding charity who own the land have problems with visitors lighting fires - what’s worse is they cut down the trees. Whether the sensors would be sensitive enough to pick up smoke and what you can usefully do with the data afterwards is another question - I suppose 99.9 % of the time it would be a useful ‘clean air reference’ location.
No problem with power as I recently installed and 80 Watt panel connected to 100aH lithium battery in the barn (that was my work installing lighting inside, although if the sensors are remote to the barn I shall take your suggestions up. Final comms maybe BLE to a LoRa radio link and a mobile gateway elsewhere as the valley has no mobile signal. I shall start with some bootnet* logging to SD cards as proof of concept.
*IP65 requirment sneakernet would suffer from water ingress. ![]()
Could you use trail camera? Or is the area too wide so camera can’t catch people lighting up fire?
I guess once you figure out when the fire is started, and if there is a pattern, you can send people out to stop visitors lighting up fire?
