# Sensmos Local-first ESP32 firmware with Home Assistant integration & anti-sybil validation \[Looking for Alpha Testers\]

Hi everyone,

First of all, huge respect for what Sensor.Community has built. The density of your network is amazing.

I’ve been working on a solo side-project called **Sensmos** that approaches crowd-sourced sensing from a slightly different architectural angle, and I would love to get feedback from experienced node operators here, as well as find a few alpha/beta testers.

**My Mission & Idea** My core idea is to share a live map with sensors so that everyone can use the data according to their needs. My personal mission is simple and practical: I want to be able to check the air quality at my neighbor’s house (because they have a weather station) and close my windows at home if needed. On the flip side, I measure grid voltage, so my neighbor can check my node to know if a power outage is just at their house or the entire neighborhood. I want to build a truly shared, peer-to-peer data fabric for local communities.

**Why am I posting here?** I am absolutely not trying to compete with Sensor.Community’s amazing global mission. Rather, I want to test a different economic and architectural model for hardware networks (DePIN) based on this hyper-local data exchange.

I am looking for **a few technical testers** who already have an ESP32 laying around and would like to flash my firmware, test the local Home Assistant integration, and help me break/improve the system.
