After to many changes registering a new sensor. I decided to delete and start over. When I try to register again, the application response with an error “This sensor ID is already registered.” Who can delete this record?

Hi @matteo.turra why do you need to delete the regsitration? We can add missing components. At the moment manually, but this will be possible at devices.sensor.community in the near future.

Hi,
I setup the sensor and everything was working fine. When i did the setup I forgot to select Publish exact location.
Before I made any changes i deleted the sensor, but I wasnt aware that I will not be able to add it again the same chipid.
Is there any way to remove/restore the sensor or just enable Publish exact location?
Here is the sensor id: 13407522
Note: I also sent an email to tech@sensor.community but didnt get any response back yet.

Hi. I have a node mcu with a fine dust sensor and a bmp280. the station identifier is: ID: 7231439 (807d3a6e57cf) Firmware version: NRZ-2024-135/IT (Apr 9 2024). I can see the values of the sensors in debug but I don’t see the values and the station on the map.

@Mirco_Marcellini The sensor seems to be registered as indoor sensor. These aren’t shown on the map by default. Click on the "PM 2.5 … " in the lower left corner. This should open a menu where you can activate that indoor sensors are visible.

Hi.
I would like to reenable my sensor after having moved. As far as I understand, I can just edit setup for my device and input new location. But then it would be possible to go through historical data for my sensors and see all locations where they were previously reporting from, right?
I would like to _break_ that history. What would be the best way to do it? To unregister the sensor board, have it manually removed (by [ricki-z](https://forum.sensor.community/u/ricki-z)?) from the database, then reregister again?

we can do this the way you wrote. Delete the sensor in your account at devices.sensor.community, then send me a DM here with the chipID and I release the chipID so that you can reregister it.

Hi, I’ve had problems with the sensor. I can’t see it on the map. I removed and reinserted the MCU, but it says it’s already in the database. I don’t know what to do. Thanks.

Hello, I’ve restored the device registration.
Please check, that you’ve selected the right sensors in the local device config and that the sensors are connected correctly.
I can see a wifi signal ([https://api-rrd.madavi.de:3000/grafana/d/Fk6mw1WGz/wifi-signal?var-chipID=esp8266-7231439&orgId=1&from=now-3d&to=now&timezone=browser](https://api-rrd.madavi.de:3000/grafana/d/Fk6mw1WGz/wifi-signal?var-chipID=esp8266-7231439&orgId=1&from=now-3d&to=now&timezone=browser)), but there are no values shown for PM or temperature/humidity.

Thanks, Ricki\_z. Now I see the SDS011 particulate matter sensor on the map. I’ve now tried plugging a BMP280 for humidity and temperature into the sensor form. Hopefully I’ll see it on the map too.

Hello,
you have a BME280 (BMP280 with humidity). I’ve changed the type, so the sensor should be shown on the map now.
