I would find it useful to be able to see past (historic) community map information as I could see which sensors gave high particle counts at the same time as my sensors. Is this something that could be done?

it’s a matter of available memory. The JSON files for PM data and temperature/humidy/pressure are 6MB each (at the moment). And around 14000 data points (incl. location and sensor infos) that your browser needs to handle.
