lets visualize it for better understanding… just be patient…
Got it, Madavi.de is working so is the Grafana site, thanks.
Can we add more sites as I don’t see my sensor on OpenSenseMap?
The same in Germany: who will fix it??
When are we enabled to read our sensor-data again?
Would be nice to hear from Stuttgart!
Now we have Tuesday night!
What is the nature of that permanent problem? Any idea?
When will the the failing system get fixed??
@ricki-z It works !!!
Thank you very much for all the work you have done over the past years, and especially for solving this big problem…
The grafana site was intentionally for tests only (before you register the sensor at devices.sensor.community with it’s location). So by default the data is sent to both endpoints. And only the main database server was down, not the grafana/influxdb server.
I’m waitung for a feedback from our hoster. The latest info I had from monday was, that the migration had stopped half ways and had to be restarted. But since tonight the server seems to be online again (thumbs pressed) …
Our hoster Strato is moving it’s virtualization platform from virtuozzo to KVM, this seems to cause most of the problems in the last months.
For OpenSenseMap you have to register your sensor there and need to activate it in the local sensor settings.
Oof. Your posts are the most German I have read in a little while, so… kudos, I guess.
To reiterate: This is a free service provided by volunteers. There is no SLA.
I registered on OpenSenseMap but I dont have an option now to enable it on Settings page. I dont remember if I checked it after first registration.
This setting can be found on the local sensor config page. Open the local IP address of your sensor in a browser and you should get there.
